Does your dog pull on the lead? Did you know that a backpack could help with this behaviour problem?
All dogs push against any pressure that they have placed upon them, that is why some dogs pull against a correction (choker) chain until they are gagging. The idea of the backpack is, it places pressure just behind the dogs shoulders therefore causing the dog to push into the direction of the pressure (which in this case is backwards), thus stopping them from pulling on the lead. Also you can add a moderate amount of weight to the backpack which tires them out faster this also slows them down and reduces pulling behaviour. In our experience every dog that has been allowed to wear a backpack has shown considerable improvement when walking.
